as a side note on the Mother's day thing.... I called Jose's Mom today and apologized like crazy about not calling because we were so sick in bed. (note: Mex. Mother's Day is always on the 10th) and her responce was "I always tell my children it's okay, you can only do what you can do." Hence my husbands lack of need to say "Happy Mother's Day" "Happy Birthday" etc etc... Now, personally I think that's just bullshit. You should not encourage your children to not celebtrate OTHER people's spot light.
Now, I could be being silly, childish or overacting. But, this is all just my opinion.
